“What was that noise?”
“Nothing,Mom” The giant’s fingers tapped at the jar. “Just catching a little bug is all.”
I covered my ears. The Giant looked down seeming amused at this response. He let his fingers give one last tap before ceasing.
“Now let's have a look at you.” His next few movements were quick.
Tip. Flip.Raise.
He didn’t say anything as he brought the Jar towards his face turning it around steady and slowly. Analyzing every possible detail there was to see about me. There wasn’t much to see. 6 inch tall girl in a bottle. 80 foot tall giant outside.
“So lifelike.” He leaned in closer “But you can’t be real I mean it’s imposs--” The giant paused. Something seemed to of caught his eye. As He studied once again. This time his focus was on my face. More importantly the eyes.
“Are those T-tears?” He whispered.
Was I crying? I touched my cheek. He was right. My mind had been so focused on the giant I’d grown numb to whatever my actual body had been feeling.
I was cold, shivering, wet, and scared.
Slowly a look of realization and fear spread across the giant’s face.
The giant clutched the Jar close to his chest as he stood up.
I couldn’t see past his fingers that wrapped around the jar. Save for a small gap. My surrounding didn’t make much sense.
I shifted in the glass as the Giant opened the door to another room.
few pictures hung on the wall and only boxes scattered the room.
With his free hands he moved a few boxes, clearing up space. As He shifted around
My eye caught view of a A single painting hanging crooked on the wall. Detailed. Almost life like. It showed the picture of a young boy similar to the giant now. Only longer hair. And fuller cheeks He was next to another Giant. Older but similar. matching smiles same golden brown eyes.
The Giant gently sat the glass down on one of the boxes. He reached into his back pocket pulling out what looked like a large pile of thin blankets. He dropped one of them in the jar. I moved to the side quickly watching the soft material drop.
“Don’t worry it hasn’t been used.” He chuckled.
I cautiously I took the thin blanket wrapping it around myself. I wouldn’t say that it made me feel warm all of a sudden but it did help slightly .
“You’ll have to forgive me for putting you in this glass. If I took you out then you’d run.”
Well the boy wasn’t an idiot.
“Why don’t we ease into this gently. Let’s start with names?”
He paused a moment. “Right...well I’m Aiden.” Beat.
“You uh… you do speak english right?” The giant squinted his eyes.
“Um..hola como estas me llamo Aid--”
“M-Mika.” I shivered.
The giant seemed stunned by the response. He sat there a moment whispering the name to himself. “My-Kah.”
“You know if I could be honest a second I didn’t think you were going to talk so soon.”
“My voice is my only weapon.”
“Weapon… You think I want to hurt you?”
I didn’t know the Giants intentions or what he wanted exactly. Did he want to hurt me? He didn’t seem like the threatening type. That only made me want to trust him less.
“I don’t know what you want.”
Aiden frowned. “Are you scared of me?”
“Yes.”
I looked over at the painting again the life likeness drew me in somehow. The boy followed my gaze.
“That’s my Dad.” He walked over to the picture straightening it “And me.” His fingertip ran across the edge of the picture.
“Where….where is he?”
“Iowa, He ran off with his secretary about six months ago.” Aiden put his hand in his pocket.
“It’s fine, Mom and Dad always fought so...yeah.” The boy shrugged. “Anyways you got a family little one.”
“Mom, Dad, Nadie, two sisters, and a ….” The images of my brothers decapitated head flashed in my head. “A…” I tried to keep calm as the tears started coming more constantly down my face.
Adrian leaned closer. “What’s the matter?”
“ Akecheta” I shivered. “I...I saw him...I saw him..” I took a deep breath, I wasn’t going to be sensitive and weak, I couldn’t be sensitive not around him.
“Brother?” The giant guessed.
I nodded. “I just saw him not even an hour ago…. His head was on the floor.”
“His eyes….they….they were open…”
“I’m...I’m sorry but did you say an hour ago….”
“Yes.”
“That’s impossible.”
“How?”
“Because you’ve been in that snow globe the last 80 years.”

Seeing Stars [ch 2]
Eunice wasn’t sure if trying to find help from the aliens on Earth would be beneficial to her. They had to be gigantic, fitting in with the sizes on Earth, but she couldn’t let that phase her. She’d been around some big creatures before. Still, big was dangerous. Big was careless. In her situation, she couldn't afford the luxury of carelessness.
She paced back and forth by her crashed ship decisively. She wanted to explore and find help, but she didn’t want to leave her ship. What if help arrived and she wasn’t there? How would anyone even begin to look for her on such a large planet? It would be impossible.

True Friends: Chapter One
BEEP BEEP BEEP. The annoying beeping of my alarm clock pulls me from the dream I was having, seriously? Groaning something unintelligible I roll over and smack the damn thing to shut it up, does it have to be seven already? I squint out of the large window across the room and see the cheery brown brick French Victorian style house across the street from mine lit up with the bright morning sun, just beginning to peek over the rooftops. I guess so. Now usually I'm pretty good about getting up in the morning, but when you have to sneak out and spend most of the night wandering around as a giant you get tired and sleeping in sounds like Heaven. S

True Friends: Chapter Eight
Chapter Eight
I roll over for the hundredth time tonight. Who knew the ground could be so uncomfortable?
I hate not being able to sleep.
Snorting in irritation I roll onto my back, blowing a strand of hair away from my forehead. I just want to be at home in my bed. Turning my attention to the tiny house beside my head I sigh, causing several of the hanging plant pots on my grandmother's porch to swing as if it were breezy. I reach out and turn my hand so the back is facing the cottage, looking back and forth between the appendage and building. My hand easily dwarfs the structure. I could probably push down on the roof and collapse it if I
